Risk of loss

Prediction markets and parlays built on top of them carry substantial risk of total loss. A parlay wins only if every leg resolves your way; a single wrong leg voids the payout. Historical results do not indicate future outcomes.

Upstream market risk

Slipp surfaces markets hosted at Polymarket. If Polymarket is unavailable, delayed, mispriced, or resolves a market in a way you disagree with, Slipp has no ability to alter that outcome. Our grading mirrors Polymarket's oracle.

Regulatory risk

Prediction markets occupy a contested regulatory space. Laws in your country, state, or province may prohibit access, deposits, or winnings. You are solely responsible for determining legality where you are. Slipp is not a licensed sportsbook, a CFTC-registered Designated Contract Market, or a money services business.

Custody risk

Slipp operates a hot wallet that custodies deposited USDC until you withdraw. While funds are held by Slipp, they are exposed to operational risks: private-key compromise, hot-wallet theft, smart-contract exploits against USDC or Base, and Slipp's own solvency. Once you withdraw, funds move to a wallet you control and those risks transfer to you. Wallet or phishing compromise on the destination side is not recoverable by Slipp.

Technical risk

Smart contracts, bridges, and on-chain infrastructure can fail. Market pricing depends on Polymarket and its oracle; if either is delayed, mispriced, or offline, tickets may be unsettleable or settle at unexpected prices.
